Plan a Luxurious Three-Course Meal for Valentine’s Day

Plan a Luxurious Three-Course Meal for Valentine's Day Valentine’s Day, for many, means a fancy dinner at an expensive restaurant. However, eating dinner out can be crowded and loud – making the night less romantic than expected. So this Valentine’s Day, choose to stay in and prepare a romantic and luxurious meal for your Valentine. Here’s how to plan a three-course meal for your special night.

But before we prepare the dishes, let’s discuss a few ways to set the ambiance for your meal.

  • Focus on the food. Do you know your date’s favorite dishes? Or certain items they’re allergic to or especially dislike? Simply by paying attention to the food that you both really enjoy will automatically make it a successful meal.
  • Shop in advance. Once you decide what you are going to cook, make a grocery list and grocery shop three days in advance. Doing so makes the “day of” less stressful and gives you plenty of time in case you forget something.
  • Don’t forget about the extras. Remember any sentimental extras like that specific brand of wine your date will enjoy or has nostalgic meaning to you both. It will add a romantic touch. You can also make a special playlist with music that is important to your relationship to add more romance to the evening.
  • Mood Lighting. Nice restaurants all seem to have low lighting to enhance the romance of the dining experience. You can create this lighting by adding a cluster of candles of different sizes as a centerpiece or scatter little votive candles around the room.
