Conducted by the University of Houston and sponsored by Direct Energy, this contest challenges seven teams of students from a diverse collection of backgrounds and disciplines against one another as they seek to develop a two-bedroom connected home that costs only $80,000 and is 100% energy efficient. Direct Energy Delivers Donation to Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation

As part of our ongoing efforts to provide a positive impact in the communities where we provide service, Direct Energy recently presented a donation to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.  Mike Ahearne from Direct Energy Home Services Canada and Phil Owens from Airtron Canada delivered a cheque for $21,192 to Sian Gibson of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation during an event at the Direct Energy office in Markham, Ontario on January 14th, 2014.
