Last week, we formally launched our new and improved OAM, and we’re really excited to share these developments with you. For starters, we’ve expanded OAM coverage to include all of our US energy markets, as it was only available to Texas customers in the past. We want all of our customers to have access to all the great resources, tools, and information provided by Direct Energy.

With our new advanced usage graphs in your OAM, you’ll be able to view exactly how much electricity you’ve been using each month compared to past months. We provide you information on your usage ranging from 4 months to 12 months, complete with a breakdown of how many kWh of electricity you used and how much you were charged per kWh of electricity usage. You can then compare your usage for your preferred range of months against your usage last year during that same range. You are then able to check your usage within a certain season of a year and compare that against past years. We simply think that, if you know how much you’ve used in the past, it will be a good indicator of what you’ll use in the future.

With these updates to OAM, we can deliver customized messaging that speaks directly to who you are as a Direct Energy customer. When you log into your OAM, you’ll receive information that is tailored to your account – renewal notifications, your current balance and bill due date, recent payments made, a basic usage chart (with links to dive into the details), account service options like Paperless Billing and Automatic Payments, home services that you might be interested in for your house, and special offers tailored to your needs. Simply put, we’re talking to you so that we can make sure you know how valuable you are to us.

As the largest supplier of home services in North America, we take special pride in delivering quality products to you so that you can take care of all your home maintenance concerns. Now, with a new tablet-friendly format, you can use your OAM to learn more about the Direct Energy home services options in your area with great efficiency and clarity. By simply clicking the “Home Services” tab and then entering your zip code in the provided field, you can view all of the home services providers in your area. And if you haven’t signed up for these products through Direct Energy, we’ve made it easy for you to get the home maintenance help you need right there in your OAM.
