Happy Pi Day!

Happy Pi Day! Note, we do mean pi and not pie, although today does give us a pretty good excuse to indulge in some tasty treats.

In addition to celebrating the number 3.14, we’re also celebrating Albert Einstein’s birthday. The physicist that gave us E = MC², the equation for ENERGY, was born on March 14, 1879 in Ulm, Germany. If he were still alive today, he’d be celebrating his 134th birthday (rearrange those numbers and what do you get?).

Albert Einstein loved energy, and so do we! One of the things we love most about Einstein is the work he did in the field of solar energy. In fact, in 1921 he won the Nobel Prize for his discovery of the photoelectric effect! Needless to say, we’re huge fans of Einstein and his birthday, Pi Day!
