Fire Prevention Week

Today marks the somber anniversary of the Great Chicago Fire. The devastating fire engulfed the city for nearly three days and burned more than 3 square miles, killing hundreds. This American tragedy led to Fire Prevention Week.

This year’s theme is “Have 2 Ways Out”. Fire can completely consume your home within a matter of minutes, therefore, it is important your family has a fire escape plan as well as a back-up plan in case the primary escape route is blocked by flames or smoke. We suggest you take the time to inspect all possible exits and escape routes. Here are some tips in the event of a fire:
