Direct Energy Offers Special Program to Benefit Pittsburgh Animal Shelter

Ask anyone and they’ll tell you, I’m a crazy cat person. I love animals so I am particularly excited about our new offer to Pittsburgh, PA area residents in the Duquesne Light and West Penn Power utility territories.

Through a partnership with the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society, Direct Energy has set a new fixed price for electricity customers in the Duquesne Light and West Penn Power utility territories who participate in the Direct Choice program. For every new customer that enrolls under this special program, the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society will receive $25. This is $25 that will help the Society provide a bed, food or toys to a homeless pet.

If you live in either Duquesne Light or West Penn Power utility territories and would like to learn more, view our rates or enroll in the program, visit www.directenergy.com/WPAHS. Or you can call our Customer Service Department at 1-855-331-0024. As a reminder, Direct Energy encourages potential new participants that are under contract with another supplier to review their contracts for potential obligations prior to enrolling.
