Another good week in the books! We had some exciting announcements this week AND got to celebrate a couple of our favorite holidays. Yesterday was Love A Tree Day, and today is Ride Your Bike to Work Day. Did you ride your bike today?

On Monday, we shared some great news for central New Yorkers! The award-winning Volunteer Citizen of the Year program is making its way to Syracuse. If you know a hard-working volunteer who deserves this award, be sure to nominate them by Sunday, June 23.

Did you know that May is National Bike Month? On Wednesday, we shared a few facts about biking and encouraged everyone to cycle to work today!

Yesterday was another exciting day in the world of corporate responsibility! We announced the winner of the first Capital Region Volunteer Citizen of the Year award. Saving energy means saving money! Here’s an easy tip that’ll help you be green AND save some green. Use energy strips. Phone chargers, laptop chargers, DVD players, etc. all draw power even when they’re not being used. An energy strip will shut down power when these devices are not in use.
