A Holiday Breather
Family has started to take over your house for the holidays. Everyone wants a say in the dinner menu. The laundry is piling up so much that it’s hanging out of your windows.
We all know the holidays can be stressful. Instead of taking it out on your loved ones, take a few minutes each day to relax. Below are a few suggestions that only take a few minutes, so you can have a breather and then get back to the chaos.
- Take the dog for a walk. Exercise and fresh air will do you, and Fido, some good!
- Take a shower first thing in the morning before anyone else gets up. We hear lavender shampoo and conditioner really does the trick!
- Maintain a restful sleep routine. Make sure you’re getting the amount of sleep your body and mind depend on.
- Eat warm, soothing foods such as delicious soups and stews.
What are your tips and tricks to a relaxing holiday?
